Terms of Service

Last updated: August 6, 2026

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using AutoPress ("the Service"), operated at autopress.dev, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not access or use the Service.

These Terms describe the conditions applied by the AutoPress operator to users of the Service. The verified operator identity and registered address remain an explicit missing item in Section 11. Material changes are handled as described in Section 12; continued use does not replace consent where applicable law requires it.

2. Description of Service

AutoPress is an AI-assisted WordPress publishing workflow. It can generate editable drafts and images from user-provided inputs, place work in a review or scheduling flow, and publish approved content to connected WordPress sites. Generated output requires user review and does not guarantee accuracy, originality, search rankings, traffic, or business results.

The Service includes, but is not limited to:

  • AI-assisted blog post, metadata, and image drafting
  • Content review, scheduling, and publishing to WordPress
  • Editable keyword, structure, and generation settings
  • Content management dashboard
  • WordPress site connection and management

3. User Accounts

3.1 Registration

To use AutoPress, you must create an account by providing accurate, complete, and current information. You must be at least 16 years of age to register. By creating an account, you represent and warrant that the information you provide is truthful and that you have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.

3.2 Account Responsibilities

You are responsible for:

  • Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
  • All activities that occur under your account
  • Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account
  • Ensuring that your WordPress site credentials stored in AutoPress are kept secure

We are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to protect your account credentials.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree to use AutoPress only for lawful purposes. You must not use the Service to:

  • Generate content that is illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, defamatory, or otherwise objectionable
  • Create spam, misleading, or deceptive content
  • Produce content that infringes on the intellectual property rights of others
  • Generate content that promotes violence, discrimination, or hatred
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service's infrastructure or other users' access
  • Use automated scripts or bots to access the Service beyond its intended API
  • Violate any applicable local, state, national, or international law

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these acceptable use guidelines.

5. AI-Generated Content

AutoPress uses artificial intelligence to generate written content. You acknowledge and agree that:

  • No guarantee of accuracy — AI-generated content may contain factual errors, inaccuracies, or outdated information. You are solely responsible for reviewing and verifying all content before publishing.
  • No guarantee of originality — While the AI aims to produce unique content, there is a possibility that generated text may resemble existing published material. You are responsible for ensuring content does not infringe on third-party copyrights.
  • User responsibility — You are fully responsible for all content published to your WordPress sites through AutoPress, regardless of whether it was generated by AI. This includes compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and platform policies.
  • Content quality — AI-generated content quality may vary. We do not guarantee that all generated content will meet your specific standards or requirements.
  • No professional advice — AI-generated content should not be considered professional, legal, medical, financial, or any other form of expert advice.

6. Intellectual Property

The AutoPress platform, including its design, logos, software, and documentation, is the intellectual property of AutoPress and is protected by applicable copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

We do not claim ownership of the inputs you provide or the generated output produced for your account. You grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to process, store, and transmit that material only as needed to provide and secure the Service. Copyright or other rights in AI-generated output may vary by jurisdiction and by the facts of each work; these Terms do not promise that generated output qualifies for intellectual-property protection.

7. Payment Terms

7.1 Subscription Plans

AutoPress offers plans with different features and usage limits. Current public plan details are displayed on our pricing page. Checkout is offered only for plans whose payment configuration is available. Any change affecting an existing paid subscription will be communicated before it takes effect when required by applicable law or the payment processor.

7.2 Payment Processing

When paid checkout is available, payment details are entered through Stripe Checkout. By confirming a Stripe checkout, you authorize the displayed subscription charge to your selected payment method and agree to the applicable Stripe terms for payment processing.

7.3 Billing Cycle

Subscriptions are billed on a recurring basis according to your chosen plan (monthly or annually). Your subscription will automatically renew at the end of each billing cycle unless you cancel before the renewal date.

7.4 Refunds

Refund requests are evaluated under the policy shown at the time of purchase and any mandatory consumer rights that apply. A verified public refund-request channel is not configured in this deployment. Paid checkout must not be treated as operational until the operator configures and tests that channel.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, AutoPress and its officers, directors, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to:

  • Loss of profits, revenue, or data
  • Damage to your WordPress sites or content resulting from the use of our Service
  • Errors or inaccuracies in AI-generated content
  • Service interruptions, downtime, or data loss
  • Unauthorized access to your account or data

Our total aggregate liability for any claims arising out of or related to the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We disclaim all warranties, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure, that defects will be corrected, or that the AI-generated content will be accurate, complete, or suitable for any specific purpose.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without cause, and with or without notice. Grounds for termination include, but are not limited to:

  • Violation of these Terms or our acceptable use policies
  • Non-payment of subscription fees
  • Fraudulent or illegal activity
  • Requests by law enforcement or government agencies

You may terminate your account at any time through your account settings or by contacting us. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. We may retain certain data as required by law or for legitimate business purposes.

11. Governing Law and Operator Details

Mandatory consumer protections and other non-waivable rights in your jurisdiction continue to apply. The operator's verified legal name, registered address, and a specific governing-law or dispute-resolution clause have not been published on this deployment. AutoPress does not assert a binding-arbitration requirement through this page. These details must be completed before paid service is presented as fully available.

12. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page and, where required, provide notice or request consent through an available account channel. Continued use does not waive mandatory rights or replace consent where applicable law requires it.

We encourage you to review these Terms periodically to stay informed of any updates.

13. Contact Us

This deployment has no verified public mailbox. The contact availability page explains the missing configuration; it is not a request-submission channel.
